About the event

Hsien and Clare host popular podcasts about how to improve the entire illness experience through planning ahead. They have interviewed hundreds of people and have uncovered simple strategies and tools to share with patients, families and health care providers that can be used early on in an illness. This 30 minute event will discuss 7 keys to a better illness experience, tools for advance care planning, and will ultimately help normalize planning ahead in every day conversations. There will also be time to answer audience questions.  

Hsien Seow, PhD, is a Professor and Research Chair in Palliative Care, McMaster University. His research focuses on improving the patient family experience with serious illness. He co-hosts the podcast The Waiting Room Revolution (www.waitingroomrevolution.com).
