What’s an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are individuals who want to facilitate a Waiting Room Revolution workshop to the public in their community.

Anyone can be an Ambassador. There are no qualifications required!

They share our passion to improve the patient and family experience and put the human back at the center of care.
What’s an example of an Ambassador?
Ambassadors could be:

Volunteers from organizations like hospitals, hospice, illness organizations etc.

Community educators
-
Patient advocates
-
End of life or Death Doulas
-
Coaches, mentors
-
Grief counsellors
-
Palliative care educators
-
Advance care planners
-
Navigators, coordinators, connectors
-
Basically….anyone with passion who would like to help move this revolution forward!
What is the Workshop in a Box?

We designed a ready-to-go workshop toolkit of the Waiting Room Revolution resources and materials, which we call the Workshop in the Box
-
It is designed to help community educators lead workshops to support patients and families.

Workshop attendees include (but are not limited to):

people currently diagnosed with a serious illness or in a caregiver role
-
people curious about being a future patient or caregiver
-
health care providers wanting to reclaim relational care
